Child in overalls running on a grassy lawn with blooming flowers and a fence in the background. Bright daytime setting, joyful mood.

Imagine if there was a Human Eraser

we could buy from the store —

wouldn't this make Earth feel lighter?

One thing Earth and I

have in common: emotional baggage.

I mean, even airlines don't

allow you to carry more than a certain amount of weight.

Do you think we should pay

for bringing extra baggage to Earth?

Are there any labour laws

for how much each square meter of Earth can carry?

Do they request you to leave

your thoughts,

memories,

experiences,

to be able to enter Earth?

Does it cost something to be here,

or do we have an option?

...

closeclaimer: did not use AI, used my brain for heaven's sake!

PS- I wrote this piece about a year back when I was ruminating on life which I always do but sometimes poems are written, you're welcome.
